Will & Ellie cheer on the Tigers.

So I don't know about you guys, but we are still on a Tigers high this morning after last nights win. While the guys were doing this...

We were having our own celebration...

Will and Ellie were definitely getting into the game even though they had no idea what was going on. During the 7th, Will and Mommy went through his room and found all the tiger stuffed animals we could find.

Then, Will wanted to wear his jersey and pose for a few pics which then turned into his future trading card...

So you think most people call close friends and family after the big win to share their happiness, well no joke, this was the first thing Will had to do after the celebration...

... call Elmo. I obviously had to take a snapshot of this, which is why you see part of my head in the pic.

At bedtime, Daddy thought it would be appropriate to read this...

 Will thought it would be more appropriate to read this (shaking my head)...

So we read both! Although, I have to give Daddy major props to going along with this and then improvising a different rendition of the story. It went a little something like this...

'Twas the night before World Series, when all through the house

Not a creature was stirring, not even a Yankee.

The ball gloves were hung in the dug out with care,

In hopes that Miguel Cabrerra soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds, 

While visions of championships danced in their heads.

And Leyland in his 'kerchief, and Lamont in his cap,

Had just settled down for a long winter's nap.

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,

I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.

And what to my wondering eyes should appear,

But Justing Verlander and eight tiny strike outs!

Unfortunately, that's where we stopped for the night. Will was pretty pooped out from the post game partying so it was definitely bedtime. :)
