All things October.

    Boy oh boy... we've been busy. I was reminded tonight on the phone by a certain person how sad she is by the lack of updates on the blog and then I realized that I should make one big post before Halloween since I will have a million pics tomorrow. So many big things have been happening in the Urbanik household!!! So let's begin...

   At the very beginning of the month, we went to the pumpkin patch. It happened to be freezing that day so we tried to be quick, but still had lots of fun...

    The following weekend, we were able to catch up with the DeFords and Philpots (mommy's high school friends/college roommates). It was great to see the girls together ... finally!

We had a fun Saturday staying in making chili and watching the MSU/UofM game...

   Ellie started swim lessons!! Sadly, Will had to miss his first class with Ellie because he came down with a fever. Then the next week, Will was able to go and Ellie was sick. :( We've been battling this sickness in our house for a while. It can go away now!

Next big news....

We have a walker!! She took her first steps right after her birthday, but really started walking a past couple of weeks.

Also, Will is now potty trained!!

We spent all last weekend potty training Will and we were very proud of him! He got it half way through the first day. Here he is showing off his certificate and big boy undies.


   And now here we are the day before Halloween. We are feeling pretty run down here after everyone getting sick, potty training, and now this crummy weather. We wanted to try to make this day as enjoyable as we could. Ellie and Will received some cute Halloween clothes as gifts and I was hoping to take them outside to get pictures in leaves. Well because of the weather we decided to play in the leaves (fake leaves) inside!

Next on the Halloween list was to bake some cookies and watch Monsters, Inc... in the leaves... kind of.

After the movie, it was time to carve pumpkins...
