Well, he is here! William Louis was born on March 25, 2010 at 2:17am. He was 8 lbs 6 oz and 20 inches long. Just the most beautiful baby boy ever (but I may be bias). Mommy started having contractions around 6 am....had to make sure that Daddy stayed near his phone at work. Around 11:30, we called the doctor's office and they told us to go straight to ER. Labor progressed pretty quickly and in the afternoon/evening it slowed down somewhat. The doctor told both sets of grandparents and Aunt Stacey to go home for a bit and get some sleep around 11pm because he thought maybe Will wouldn't be wanting to make his debut until HOURS later. Of course, 45 mintues after they left Mommy went from 6 to 9 cm dilated. Both set of grandparents rushed back up to the hospital. After several attempts at pushing, the doctor had to call an emergency C-section. Will was delivered soon after that. Finally, after about 3 hours of recovery for Mommy, the family was able to "officially" meet Baby Will.
We want to thank everyone for their well wishes and we are so thankful for what God has given us. Life is so good!!
