Will plays baseball.

"Oh, put me in, Coach - I'm ready to play today;
Put me in, Coach - I'm ready to play today;

Look at me, I can be Centerfield."

I couldn't stop singing that song as I uploaded these pictures. First off, I cannot believe I haven't posted these pics of Will playing baseball yet. I guess I waiting until his last day to show you (I was hoping to take more pics, but his last day was cancelled due to the weather). We signed Will up for fundamentals baseball through our parks and rec. and I don't think he knew what he was in for. He is only 3, so when we ask him if he wants to play baseball I can only imagine in his head he is picturing the Tigers games we watch on TV. His response was always, "No, thank you". It took him a bit to warm up (he pretty much hung onto Phil's leg on the first day), but he finally caught on and was doing jumping jacks, running the bases, catching, throwing, and hitting the ball. He was lucky enough to get a left handed glove too! You can tell how comfortable he is with his new glove compared to his right handed one.

He asked us if he could wear his "blue dress to baseball".

 They had a water break every 15 minutes and Will chose to spend his time running over to Ellie giving her hugs and thanking her for watching him play baseball. The pictures don't even come close to showing you how cute they were.

He kept saying, "I love you, Ellie."
