Will & Ellie's Valentine's Day.

Well I'm sure most of you saw these two beauties on Facebook...

....but what you didn't see was their outtakes. First off, all of us were pretty sick on Valentine's Day (yes, the same virus we all had last month). So, none of us were really thrilled about doing anything that didn't involve laying around with lots of tissues and watching TV. After Ellie's nap, I psyched myself up... "Get these kids dressed and just take their pictures! You bought them presents (they don't need to be wrapped), give them their gifts and just have some fun." Well, I was able to easily change my mood. The kids on the other hand... not so much. They did nothing, but whine and cry (which made their noses run even more). I didn't realize that all I had to do was bribe them with Smarties and milk. Once I said those two beautiful words, they did nothing but say "cheese" and smile for the camera (which are the pictures above).

"CANDY?!?!"

Then, I asked Will to hold onto Ellie's hand. He wasn't willing until I said he could have another Smartie. Then he took his task very ( a little too) seriously.

"HOLD ONTO MY HAND!"
 

Well, Mom, I'm holding onto her hand.

I'm going to do whatever it takes for that piece of candy.

 Well, Will did get his piece of candy. Then, we watched Charlie Brown.
