Yes. We have two new family members. Their names are Fwoff and Bubba. Yes. Those are their names. Yes. Both kids named one of them. Can you guess who named whom? Before I tell you let's rewind here a bit. It is the 22nd of January, and I am now posting this. All four of us were pretty sick this month. I started with the ugly virus right after New Years, then poor Will was hit pretty hard followed by Ellie and Dad-Dad. While we were all sick, Nan-nan, Papa, Grum, and Gramps took excellent care of us especially with Will and Ellie. They received all kinds of "get well" presents from them... one of the presents was two goldfish. They were pretty psyched at first... then they weren't sure... then Will couldn't care less about them... then they finally welcomed and accepted our new family members. We asked Will to name one. His response, "Fwoff". Ok... Fwoff it is. We asked Ellie to name the other. Her response, "Hi Bubba". Ok... then the other fish is Bubba. Yes, Bubba. She loves Bubba. Whenever she walks by the tank, she has to say and wave hi to Bubba. "Hi, Bubba!" :)
On a sad note, we lost Fwoff a week after we got him. We were able to "replace" a new one right away trying our best to make sure Will didn't notice him missing. Well, he did. "Where did Fwoff go?" I explained to Will that Fwoff went on vacation and that he should be back sometime soon. An hour later with Nan-Nan to the rescue, a new Fwoff was here, Will walks by, saw Fwoff and exclaimed, "FWOFF CAME HOME!!!" Probably one of my favorite moments ever. :)
Oh yeah, they were here for two weeks and already have a new home...
