Ellie is 8 Months!

I don't know what it is about this age, but this is when both Will and Ellie changed the most. Phil just said to me yesterday, "wow, Ellie just seems so different." And I completely agree. In just the past week, she's so much older looking and her personality is really starting to come out. Still no teeth, but she now clapping, trying to wave, smiles, laughs, and goes from sitting position to her tummy (crawling is right around the corner). Our little girl is very alert and extremely smart. She says "mama" and I heard her say "dada" one time, but her latest thing is saying "RAWR". It's all I get out of her lately even she and Daddy had a "rawr-ing" contest the other day... so the majority of my pictures from this session are of her saying "rawr".  :) Goofy girl. She loves anything that Will watches (Toy Story 1, 2, &3, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, Cars, Charlie Brown, etc). I turned on one of Will's old Baby Einstein DVDs the other day and I think Will had more interest watching it than Ellie. She is now onto 2nd foods trying a whole new variety of flavors... she loves everything we give her including the ham and pineapple she tried the other night. I remember Will not liking any meats at this age. In the next week or so, we plan on starting cereal puffs with her! In addition, Ellie has been trying out her new sippy cups. She liked them at first however for now she prefers her juice in a bottle.
