Happy Birthday, Ellie Marie! Two whole months! These past 8 weeks have absolutely flown by so fast that I feel like I need to start planning her first birthday already. This past month we have seen her smile for the first time and she is now sleeping on average 5 to 6 hours at night. Last night she even went 7 hours! However, she seems to sleep better in her bouncy seat than her crib, so my goal is to get her used to her new bed before she is 3 months. Ellie is such a happy, happy baby. She does nothing but smile (or sleep) most of the day. I feel like I can take her anywhere and not feel scared that she may start to cry or fuss. Also, this past month, Ellie even rolled over! I promise you that this is true. Some people don't believe us, but Phil and I watched her do it and then almost do it again! She hasn't been able to do it since then, but it's pretty crazy that she did this at only 6 weeks old. She is now 11 pounds 5 ounces (50th percentile) and 22 inches long (50th percentile). She loves her swing, car rides, getting dressed (there is a pretty tree on her wall to look at during this time), and hearing her brother laugh (who doesn't though?).
